Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This policy explains what information Jovian Studio collects through this website, how it's used, and the choices available to you.

01

Introduction

Jovian Studio (https://thejovianstudio.online) is operated by Shourya Gupta(“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how it's used, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to visitors and prospective clients using this website worldwide. Where a specific law grants you rights beyond what is described here, that law continues to apply and nothing in this policy limits it.

02

Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what your device shares automatically.

Information you provide

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number and WhatsApp contact details
  • Company or business name and details about your project
  • Meeting, consultation or booking information
  • Any other information you choose to include in a message to us

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and approximate (country-level) location
  • Browser type, device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time on page, and general usage patterns
  • Cookies and similar technologies -- see Section 04
03

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to enquiries and requests for information
  • Schedule and prepare for consultations or calls
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and Statements of Work
  • Deliver services to clients and communicate about active projects
  • Maintain and secure the website, and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Understand how the website is used, so we can improve it (analytics -- only where configured, see Section 04)
  • Determine an appropriate display currency for pricing (see Section 05)
  • Meet legal, accounting and compliance obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information you submit through our contact or audit forms for purposes unrelated to the above without asking you first.

04

Cookies & Analytics

This website uses a small number of cookies. A necessary cookie remembers your preferred display currency. If we have configured Google Analytics (GA4) and/or the Meta Pixel for this site, those tools may set additional cookies to help us understand aggregate website usage and measure the performance of any advertising we run -- they are only active when configured, and are not always enabled.

If you are visiting from a country where opt-in consent is required (for example, the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland), we show a cookie banner and do not activate Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel until you accept. You can change your decision at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the website footer.

For a full breakdown of what each cookie does and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

05

Location & Currency Localization

To show pricing in a currency relevant to you, this website determines your approximate country from information provided by our hosting infrastructure (for example, a country code attached by our hosting provider's network) or, failing that, defaults to USD. We do not collect precise (GPS-level) location, and we do not store this information beyond what's needed to remember your currency preference. You can override the detected currency at any time using the currency selector in the pricing section.

06

Third-Party Service Providers

We use a limited number of third-party providers to run this website and deliver our services. Depending on configuration, these may include:

  • A hosting and infrastructure provider (for example, Vercel) that serves this website
  • An email delivery provider used to route form submissions to us
  • Google Analytics and/or the Meta Pixel, where configured, for website analytics
  • WhatsApp (operated by Meta), if you choose to contact us via a WhatsApp link
  • An external scheduling provider (for example, Calendly or Cal.com), if you use our booking link

If you follow a link to WhatsApp or an external booking provider, you leave this website and that provider's own privacy policy governs the information you share with them.

07

Data Sharing & International Transfers

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with the service providers described in Section 06 (to the extent needed for them to perform their function), or where required by law.

Because this website and our service providers may operate infrastructure in different countries, information may be transferred to and processed in a country other than your own. We process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

08

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy -- for example, for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, deliver a service, or meet legal and accounting obligations -- and delete or anonymize it once it is no longer needed.

09

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including restricting access and using reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you are located, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Where these rights apply, we will honor requests in accordance with applicable law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.

11

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
